A Voice That Has Lived It

Cheryl Wright doesn't just speak about surviving trauma. She has lived it. Not read about it. Not studied it. Lived it. She named it, and chose to speak it out loud — moving through the world with one driving conviction: to be for others what she did not have.

She is a UC Berkeley alumna, President of the Cal Black Alumni Association, and author of the memoir Still Standing: From Silence to Purpose. She speaks to survivor advocacy groups, faith communities, and universities and colleges committed to honest, healing conversations.

She Speaks On:

Education as the Vehicle That Changed Her Life
How education became the door to independence, dignity, and breaking a cycle for the next generation.

Faith, Doing the Work & Finding Your Way Through
The honest intersection of spirituality and healing — and why God's purpose for your life may include a therapist's office.

Breaking Generational Silence, Reclaiming Your Voice & Redefining Strength
How speaking your truth turns your hardest chapters into your most meaningful work.
